The Executive Chairman of Afikpo Local Government Area,NWACHI, Timothy A. U, has received a report from a Special Committee on a land dispute between Amoha Development Center and One Eze Ogbonna. This development comes against the backdrop of a long-standing dispute between Amoha Development Center and the Eze Ogbonna over a parcel of land and the need to authenticate the rightful ownership for the sake of peace Receiving the report, the Council Chairman commended the committee members and its chairman, Dr. Chief Ifeanyichukwu Madukibe Ewa, for their dedication and sacrifice in producing a dispassionate report. The chairman promised to study the report quickly and take swift action to bring sustainable peace to the area.He further used the opportunity to call on individuals, groups, Communities to continue to live in peace and harmony for accelerated development in the Council Area. Earlier in a remark, the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Chief Ifeanyichukwu Ewa thanked the Council Chairman for the privilege to serve and disclosed that the Committee Members met severally, received memos from members of the public and visited the disputed land before coming up with their final report.
